The Great Lakes Full Size Chevy Club and the National Impala Association are proud to present the NIA's 31st Annual Convention in Kalamazoo,Michigan. July 23-28, 2011

  

Great Lakes ! – Great Chevys !

 

Saturday evening July 23 – 31st Annual National Impala Association Convention Registration and Welcome Party at Holiday Inn West in Kalamazoo.

Sunday July 24 – “Happy Birthday Chevrolet” Car Show & Swap Meet at Gilmore Car Museum. This is Chevrolet only event.  Registrations open to anyone with a Chevrolet vehicle.

General public is welcome as spectators with Gilmore Car Museum admission.

 

We are expecting several hundred Chevys from this part of the country, plus the N.I.A. member cars from throughout the US and Canada.

This will be a Sponsor Choice Show. Trophies to be given by show sponsors. It can be the best car overall or a specific model ( Corvette, Corvair, truck, or?) or a part of the car (best paint, best interior, or?)

Monday July 25 – N.I.A. Convention Peoples Choice Show-n-Shine at Gilmore Car Museum

Convention cars to be parked by year.

General public is welcome as spectators with Gilmore Car Museum admission

 

Tuesday July 26 – N.I.A. Concourse point judging at Holiday Inn West.
This event is open only to N.I.A. convention registrants. As the name indicates, this is a judged show with several classes ( non-restored, restored, modified, etc) and other awards.

Ladies luncheon at the Kellogg Manor House.

Tuesday evening - 50's dance at the Holiday Inn West, hotel staff to pick winners

Wednesday and Thursday July 27, 28 – possible rain dates and open days for tours to area attractions.

 

Wednesday July 27 - Kalamazoo ZOO Cruise, stops to include the Air Zoo and Binder Park Zoo

Wednesday evening,  Chevrolet Grudge racing at US-131 Dragway - Martin, Michigan

                        Or join the Wednesday Evening Cruise at Gilmore Car Museum

 

Thursday July 28 – Cruise to South Haven Michigan for some beach resort town shopping, bring along your swimsuit to help enjoy the beautiful Lake Michigan Beach.
