Fellow Chevy Enthusiast,
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Great Lakes Full-Size Chevy Club (GLFSCC). The GLFSCC was formed in West Michigan in the year 2000 as a chartered local chapter of the National Impala Association (NIA). The mission of the NIA is to unite individuals dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and enjoyment of all 1958-1970 full-size Chevrolets.
The GLFSCC was organized for the purpose of bringing together these individuals on a local level. We are based in the West Michigan area, but include members from Detroit to Muskegon, and Suttons Bay to Coldwater. We are a family-oriented organization and club activities may include cruises, shows, tours, and other events revolving around these cars and their owners. In addition, the NIA holds an annual convention each summer which enables Chevy enthusiasts from all over the country to meet and interact with one another.
Although the NIA derives its name from the Impala model, we also welcome owners of all full-size Chevrolets including Caprice, Nomad, DelRay, Sedan Delivery, Kingswood, BelAir, Biscayne, & 1959-60 El Camino. Enthusiasts are also welcome, as ownership of a vehicle is not required to participate in club activities.
Meetings are held bi-monthly on the first Saturday starting in February (Feb., Apr., Jun., Aug., Oct., and Dec.) in addition to other scheduled club activities. The GLFSCC consists of a membership which includes a President, Secretary/Treasurer, and Board of Directors. Annual Dues in the amount of $20 per family are payable each December.
If you would like to apply for membership or obtain further information, you may e-mail us at Impl396@aol.com or call 269-760-8436.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Phil Kinney- President GLFSCC
